Barry and I were good friends during our high school years. Lost track of him after high school but I remember the good time we had playing on our church bb team, going on double dates. I recall the time that we were trying out for the SJ basketball team and I sprained my ankle during a scrimmage. Had to leave the court in some real pain and had trouble walking. Barry, being the kind of guy he was, carried me on his back down to Sid's Grill and from there I hitched a ride home. Barry went back to the tryout and made the team. Barry was one of the good guys. Gonna miss his presence in the world.
