HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHANE!!!! LOVE U MAN!! MISS U!! Hey Bro. I wish you could see your "twin" nephew Kaiden. He is SO much like you shane. He constantly chews on the inside of his cheek, using his hand to push in on his cheek JUST LIKE U DID. He writes and eats left handed, but throws and does most things with his right. And of course...he rolls his stomach...better than you could even π. Everyday he asks me to tell him stories of "uncle shane" and the crazy stories of what we did when we were kids. He loves hearing your stories. Even without you physically being here, you are BY FAR his favorite person to talk about and always wants to hear more about you. It kills me that you will not have a relationship with him physically, but i must say...he loves his uncle shane. However he does laugh and looks alot like kyle at this age, but that's the only bad thing really. (Gotcha kyle) But seriously, I like to think there's a big part of you in kaiden somehow and I don't care how insane that sounds.....I will always fully believe it. Kaiden having all these qualities makes me feel that I "see you" everyday and that means ALOT to me. Its bitter sweet but makes me feel as if your somehow with me still. Actually no, I KNOW you are. My condolences to all of the Colvin Family and everyone that will miss Shane. I'm sad that his time with us was too short but take comfort in knowing I will see him again one day. So many great memories with Shane growing up with him on the baseball diamond and at school. He was always my shortstop! You will be missed my friend!

I only knew Shane as a rascally kid who was best friends with my brother Dougie. He was always my favorite of all dogs baseball buddies. Prayers be with the family and my condolences for your immense loss. What a beautiful soul Shane was.
