My condolences, and may you keep many happy memories of your dear one close to your hearts. But when sadness comes, may these promises from Jehovah God help you to endure. "Do not be anxious....but in everything by prayer and supplication along with thanksgiving, let your petitions be made known to God; and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7; Isaiah 25:8 NWT.

Mark and Lee, so sorry to hear of the passing of both your parents in such a short time. They were both wonderful people who touched my family's heart in many ways. Your dad was a wonderful co-worker of my father's and such a wonderful friend. They will be missed by many.

I know how lucky I was to have you for my Mom. Your enduring love has carried me through every difficult time of my life. We are so thankful you are no longer suffering and were able to pass peacefully. Now that you & Dad are together again we can be comforted with the knowledge these last three week's were for the purpose of you and Dad being reunited.

You were the best Mom a son could ever have. I will miss you greatly but be comforted by knowing you are in heaven with Dad and all of your friends and family that preceded you.

Lee and Mark talked about the fishing, hunting and camping trips speaking fondly of how they enjoyed all the things they learned from their dad. My question was what about your mom where was she, they answered she was always there dinner ready or waiting for whatever they brought back to prepare. There is a special bond between a mother and her son and Lee loved her so much. I will miss his numerous calls to check on them but know that both Big John and Liz are in a much better lace, only one that we can imagine. Rest In Peace, I hope Tar Baby and Bud were there to greet you.

Rest In Peace Aunt Liz. So thankful that you are no longer suffering and that you have joined Uncle John in the loving arms of God. Those of us you left behind will always remember warmth and easy smile. We will carry it with us always. Lee and Mark, so sorry for the great loss of both your parents this week. With love.

What a beautiful woman and person, Mrs. Withington was. I am very sorry to read of your loss. With her accomplishments, her love and joys, she was an amazing woman! I won't pretend to know what you're going through, but what has helped me deal with the loss of those I love, is turning to the Scriptures, something that has been a real source of comfort. One Scripture that gives me hope is, John 11:25, which says, "Jesus said to her: “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life." I hope that this verse will also comfort you and, I hope you and your family can get through this difficult time. Please accept my condolences for the loss of your beloved mother, grandma and friend. Sincerely, Meryl, jw.org - healingwordsforu@gmail.com
