My thoughts and prayers go out to Vance and to all that knew and loved her. I have wonderful childhood memories that I will cherish forever. She loved cats and her plants. Go rest now Debbie. Fly with the angels. You are free from pain and all that burdened you. Say hello to my grandma Ethel.

Debbie was a wonderful woman. She showed such strength, dignity, and grace throughout her battle. Always putting on a smile and the first to give words of encouragement to others in their time of need. You were truly an inspiration. It was an honor to have known you.

Debbie, Debmeister, The Fighting Seminole, I called you by all these names. Most of all I called you my friend. You were my friend when we worked together. You were my friend when I worked with you and your mom in the yard. You were my friend when we went to the shooting range. You were my friend during football season when you basked in the glory of your beloved Seminoles. You were the friend who let me take her son Vance hiking. You were the friend who introduced me to her mom's fantastic bbq ribs. But the friend I enjoyed the most was the friend whom I could talk to or text with about nothing. You were a great friend whom I love dearly. You had great stories about many past adventures. The one I liked the most was the one about the manatee who lifted you to the surface when you fell deep into the water and became disoriented. Maybe your on the manatee's back again, riding off to heaven? I don't know, I can only imagine. But I do know this. You were a unique person and a great friend. I miss you already. - Ted Barnette
