Charles W. Porter

Charles W. Porter, 94, passed away on July 17, 2014, at his home in Titusville, FL, his wife of 63 years by his side.  

He is survived by his wife, Blanche; three children, Joseph, Jeffrey (Christina), Susan; five grandchildren, Victoria, Meghan (Michael), Amy, Taylor, Cassandra, Nicholas; and four great-grandchildren, Jillian, Cecilia, Sieanna, Ashton.

Charles served in the US Marine Corps from 1940-1946.  He worked in the space industry from 1959-1985 and retired from McDonnell-Douglas.  Charles was an active member of the North Brevard Shrine Club and Masonic Lodge #384.  He was a mentor to many young men, loved working for children’s causes.  He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mims.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30am on Thursday, July 24, 2014, at North Brevard Funeral Home in Titusville.
