Grady will certainly be missed by many. I always liked and respected him. His sense of humor always made work so much more pleasant. Above all he was just a fine example of a really good person.

Pam, I know today isn't going to be a easy day for you, your family,Grady's family, and both of your personal friends and common friends that we both know. And you know there are going to be people from all over the United States to honor Grady and all that he did for so many people. And I hope they will include you because you and Grady did a lot for the Department as a Team. I am sorry that I won't be there. I will be sending you a personal letter to your home to explain a little more about why. But I will be a angel on your shoulder. And know how much I love you. Dear Grady, We have so many memories that dates back many years ago. And I am so glad that I had the pleasure of working with you. And to watch you and Pam grow together and to have 3 beautiful children as well as your older son. I wasn't really sure if I could sit here and write this without the tears. You have made such a impact on so many peoples lives that they will continue to do the work you taught them. And your children will grow up and do the things that you and Pam had already discussed..
Grady and Pam, My heart goes out to your famiies
And to the BCSO and to all the other agencies that Grady worked with on a daily basis we will get through this and as we always do we do it as a team and we are always there for each other.
Love and Prayers, Dawnelle

Grady was a great guy. He made me laugh. He was a good friend. He was a great seminole. I will miss going to the Florida, Florida State games. You were a great uncle to our son. You will be missed by many for all the jokes you did to other people. I'm proud to have been your friend. God Bless

Uncle Grady,
Where do I begin? You always knew how to make me laugh at just the right moment. Like when the pastor asked "why are we here?" and you said " Ummm... Look below you." You were and amazing person inside and out and I am going to miss you terribly. I love you.
