Yvonne C Parker

Yvonne Calhoun Parker, 78 of Titusville went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 6, 2018. Born October 15, 1939 to late Carl and Rosalie Calhoun, Yvonne was a member of First Baptist Church of Titusville and was a retired project manager for NASA. Yvonne was an active member of the community serving 29 years on the Board of Directors for Launch Federal Credit Union. She had been a member of Titusville Corvette Club, Cape Kennedy Corvette Club and AIAA. Yvonne attended Colin Junior College where she was Homecoming Queen and in the Hall of Fame. While working at NASA she received her degree in Mathematics from Rollins College. She will be greatly missed by her daughter Susan Smeen, son Charles Parker Jr.; grandchildren Elie Jr. and John Smeen and sister Patricia Mullins. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 12 at 10am at First Baptist Church, Titusville with burial to follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Sunday at 2-4pm at North Brevard Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Yvonne's name to First Baptist Church, Titusville.
