Wilbur Dave Posey

Wilbur “Dave” Posey went to be with the Lord on September 2, 2019 in Titusville, FL.  He was born on November 24, 1943 to the late Dewine and Caswell Posey in Panama City, FL. He was raised in Anniston, AL. After graduation he joined the Marines and served in Vietnam.  After being honorably discharged, he worked 19 years as an iron worker. Then he worked for Martin Marietta and Lockheed Space Operations.  He then moved on to United Space Alliance with the Shuttle program where he retired in June 2005.  He enjoyed travel, gardening, cooking and watching golf.

Dave is survived by his wife Nancy, sisters; Gloria, Janice, children; Cindy, Brian, David, Eric and step children Danielle and Dena, many grandchildren, two beautiful Shin-Tzus Bodhi and Boomer.  He was predeceased by his brother David.

The family will receive friends from 3 -5 pm on Saturday September 14, 2019 at North Brevard Funeral Home.
