W Kelly Young

On March 8th, 1967, in Titusville, Florida, William “Kelly” Young was born to Robert “Bob” Young and Carla “Terri” (Hannah) Young.

A graduate of Titusville High School’s Class of ’85, Kelly – as he was more affectionately called – an outgoing, charismatic fellow with an infectious grin, married Lori Sherman in 1988 and welcomed his utmost pride and joy, daughter Nicole Kelly, that same year. Though Kelly and Lori later divorced, Nicole forever remained the apple of his eye.

Throughout the years, Kelly was employed in the Software Development field for successful companies such as McDonnell Douglas, Witt Biomedical, Philips and Premise Health, all in Central Florida.

Kelly spent much of his time engulfed in the sport of Motocross, first as an amateur racer himself and then as a spectator later in life. He also loved travelling The States and abroad any and every chance he had. With the gift of gab and love for a good party, he could break the ice in any room and start conversations with the most unlikely of people. Kelly truly lived his life to the fullest – and the best – he could.

Sadly, on Saturday, January 19th, 2019, William Kelly Young, 51, left behind those who shall forever cherish his memory most fondly: His parents, [late sister Deborah Lind,] brothers Danny and Kevin (spouse: Stephanie), daughter Nicole, (spouse: Michael), grandchildren Asa and Amelia, and his girlfriend of nine years, Stacy McGourty.
