Virginia Stevenson

Virginia Stevenson, 87, went home to be with the Lord on February 16, 2021.  Virginia was born in Taylorsville, NC in 1933 and moved to Titusville, FL 7 years ago to be with children.  During her working life, she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant and caregiver, worked at Trio grocery store for 29 years, and sold Hazel Keller cosmetics and Shaklee Vitamins. Virginia was passionate about the Lord and had great faith. She loved her family, friends, and Taylorsville neighbors dearly and was very charitable, always willing to give her last dollar to someone in need. Her pride and joy was her family and her grandchildren. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and sister; her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

Virginia is survived by her son Andrew and his wife Jennifer of Titusville, FL, her daughter Kandy Southerland and her husband Rick of Lindale, TX, her daughter Crystal Townsend and her husband Steve of Titusville, FL, her 13 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, and her sister, Odessa White of Taylorsville, NC.

She was preceded in death by her husband Tony Stevenson, son Charles Stevenson, and daughter Deborah Usary.

Services will be at Adams Funeral Home on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. with a viewing from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Burial will follow the service at Linneys Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
