I never shook hands with the man I knew as "Fuzz," but I feel like I knew him well from an Internet varmint hunting forum he frequented. Fuzz was well liked by literally hundreds of people across the country thanks to this forum and the 3C's Hunt that he organized. He was always friendly in his posts, but mostly Fuzz was known for being generous, helping out kids and beginning reloaders. As many of his Internet friends said: We are diminished.

When I learned that Tommy had passed I found myself at a loss trying to put into words my feelings, as if anything I could say would somehow lift that mantle of sorrow we're all feeling or provide reassurance that this too shall pass. But pass it will … each day will be a little easier to get through as time and memories help the heart to heal. Tommy's stories, his values, his love of family, even his sense of humor … all will live on in each one of us. That is his legacy! May God bless you with the strength and courage to see you through this difficult time.

It's very sad that we have lost a valuable member of our team and a good friend. Thomas brought a high degree of professionalism and expertise to the safety team at Kennedy Space Center. It did not matter to him whether he was working in the shuttle launch areas, payload processing areas or outlying support areas, he always applied his abilities to that situation. He is greatly missed and I pray that GOD will console his family and friends in this time of sadness even though I believe he is in a much better place now.
