Theodore T Okula Sr.

Theodore T. Okula Sr, 102, passed away at Addington Place on September 14, 2019 surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut to the late Alex and Mary Okula. Theodore was a farmer for the Long Island Vegetable Research Farm owned and operated by Cornell University.   He worked very hard to support and provide for his family. Upon retirement he would have lunch at either Wendy's or McDonalds everyday. He was a fanatic about baseball. He enjoyed supporting The New York Yankees Baseball team, watching every game and wearing his hat with pride. At age 90 he moved from Riverhead,Long Island to Louisville ,Kentucky  for three years and spent the remaining nine years of his life in Titusville, Florida

He was survived by his loving family, daughters Barbara Worthington (Walter) and Patricia Berla’; Grandchildren: Debbie Schricker (Albert), Walter Worthington (Erica), Eric Worthington (Bobbi), Katherine Berla' , and Susan Berla'; Great-Grandchildren: Benjamin S., Bailey, Tyler, Sarah, Hannah, Brayden, Benjamin H. ,Alexandra and Jonathan.

Theodore was predeceased by his his wife Dorothy and his sons Theodore Okula Jr. and Lawrence Okula.
