Shirley Ann Peabody

Shirley Ann Peabody, 84, passed away at her home in Titusville. Shirley was born in Tiffin, Ohio and came to Titusville in 1980 from Key West, FL. She served in the U.S. Navy where she met her husband of over 62 years, Robert. In addition to taking care of her family Shirley was a talented artist. She was a master doll maker, quilt maker, ceramicist and jewelry maker. She was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Robert I. Peabody; her son, Robert A. Peabody and his wife Gail of Mobile, Alabama; Her son, Daniel Peabody and his wife Cassie of Titusville, Florida; Her son, Richard “Scott” Peabody and significant other, Carrie Tatman of Merritt Island, Florida; Daughter-in-law, Teresa Peabody; Her grandchildren: Amanda, Sean, Lea, Landon, Danielle, Kyle, Kimberly and Wesley; Her great-grandchildren: Lilliana, Jacob, Sophie, Brody and Kohen.  Shirley was preceded in death by her son, Paul.

The family will receive friends and family from 5-7pm Wednesday September 30, 2020 at North Brevard Funeral Home. A funeral service will be celebrated at 10am in the funeral home chapel. Military honors and burial will take place 1pm at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims.
