Sarah Jo Heslep

Sarah Jo Carter Heslep was born in 1931 in Valdosta, Georgia to Marian and Sion William Carter. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend, phenomenal cook, avid reader, political canvasser for the Democratic Party, and true southern belle. She passed away in Titusville, Florida at the age of 88. She is preceded in death by husband Jeff David Heslep Jr. and beloved son Sion William Carter Heslep. Surviving are sons Jeff David Heslep III (Judy Heslep) and John Lott Heslep (Paula Heslep); grandchildren Jeff, Matthew, Daniel, Regan, Nickolaus, Alexander, Jacob; and great-grandchildren Christopher and Carter. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to ASPCA Animal Rescue and Protection in her name, a cause that was close to her heart. Her funeral will be held at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens in Valdosta, Georgia at a date to be announced.
