Robert Gerald “R.G.” Brown, 70, died Friday October 5, 2018 at Parrish Medical Center. R.G. was born in Metter, Georgia and moved to Orlando when he was 6. He came to Titusville in 1983. He had a diverse career and worked as a teacher, drove 18 wheelers for Budweiser, worked in sales for Snap-On and Charles Chips. R.G.’s passion was music, he worked at Strings N’ Things Music in Titusville for over 30 years and retired from GoldTone 10 months ago. R.G. sang in the church choirs of First United Methodist Church, First Baptist Church and First Presbyterian Churches in Titusville and loved to fish.
R.G. is survived by his wife Jennavon of Port St. John; his daughters Jennifer Tschanz and her husband Greg of Port St. John and Jerolyn Andrews and her husband Eric of Satellite Beach; his grandson Robert Yoho of Austin, Texas; and his sister Robin Brown of Glennville, GA.
A visitation will be from 6-8pm Monday October 8, 2018. R.G.’s life will be celebrated at 1pmTuesday October 9, 2018 at First Presbyterian Church of Titusville. A private committal will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
