Richard Schaeffer

Richard Henry Schaeffer, 49, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 18, 1971 in Brooklyn, New York.  Richie loved the outdoors and usually spent his days doing irrigation.  He enjoyed R/C cars.  He loved traveling to the Florida Keys and Marathon Florida. He rarely complained about the ocean and the beach because he enjoyed doing everything the water had to offer him! From fishing offshore and inshore, lobstering, to jumping on a boat, he experienced it all!  He was a family man that loved his family and often enjoyed Friday night football games with his boys.  He will be missed and remembered by all those that hold him in their heart.

Richie is survived by his wife, Lisa; His Sons: Mitchell, Trevor and Reid; Mother, Ellen Schaeffer; Brother, William Schaeffer (Barbara); Nephew, Michael Schaeffer (Vanessa); Niece, Christine Schaeffer.  He is preceded in death by his father, Bill Schaeffer.

There will be a gathering of friends and family on September 27^th between the hours of 1-4 pm at North Brevard Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Francis Reflections Lifestage Care Foundation.
