Paula Katherine Raulerson

December 28, 1955 ~ October 24, 2020 (age 64) 64 Years Old

Obituary

Paula Katherine Raulerson left this earthly dwelling to be welcomed into the arms of her Loving Savior and Lord. She lived a beautiful, blessed 64 years, deeply loved by her husband and family. She was a gift from day one...A late Christmas present to her parents, Harold Paul and Eugenia Lucille Drawdy. She was born on December 28, 1955 in Winter Haven, Florida.  She was a devoted and faithful wife to the love of her life, Gary Lee Raulerson for 47 wonderful years. She and Gary had two sons, Brian Lee Raulerson (married to Christy) and David Paul Raulerson (married to Julie). They were her pride and joy. Paula adored her grandchildren Alyssa Slack, Austin, Emma, Grace, Samuel, and Jeremiah Raulerson. She dearly loved her best friend and sister Debbie Grout, and Debbie’s daughters Heather Grout and Michelle Ashworth (husband Steven). Paula also loved her great nephew and nieces ...Steven, Rylee, and Kinley Ashworth. She was also survived by her Uncle Rick Kaiser.  She was welcomed into an Eternity in Heaven by her late Parents; Harold and Eugenia Drawdy, maternal Grandparents; Alonzo and Katherine Kaiser, Fraternal Grandparents; Saul Paul and Gertrude Drawdy, and Uncle Kenny Kaiser. Paula was a beautiful woman inside and out. She was not only beautiful but classy, kind, generous, loving, and her faith made her shine bright. She loved cooking delicious meals for her family. Everyone looked forward to the beautiful, delicious meals she prepared and the holidays she hosted. Her home was one of her many joys. (She was a talented home decorator and her home was a beautiful aqua, coastal retreat.) She was always welcoming and caring...full of warm hugs, encouragement, and so much love. She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by all those she left behind. Those who knew her, also know that she is living in eternity and they will joyfully see her again. They know that she stepped into the arms of a Loving Savior who welcomed her with the words “Well done my good and faithful servant...enter into my Joy.” A graveside is to take place at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at one o’clock. Please consider wearing ocean colors to the graveside if you can because Paula would have liked that.
