Nancy C Dotson

Nancy Carnes Dotson went peacefully to be with her heavenly father on July 17, 2017, while

surrounded by her prayerful family in Titusville, Florida. Nancy was born in Greenville, SC, on

Oct. 1, 1963, the daughter of Jimmy and Nanette Carnes. She is a graduate of P.K. Yonge High

School in Gainesville, FL, and the University of Georgia. In 1990, she married the love of her

life, Andy Dotson, who she met while in college. The couple moved to Titusville, where for years they operated the Athletic Attic sports apparel store, and later the Athletic Department. More recently, Nancy worked as an accountant for Brevard Uniform.

Nancy courageously battled breast cancer for 15 years. Weakened by treatment, she refused to

miss a single event involving her two daughters. Nancy never complained, never lost her sense

of humor, and fought like a champion until the very last moment.

She is survived by her husband Andy, their daughters Macy and Halle, her mother Nanette

Carnes, her brothers Jerry, Bob, and John. Nancy joins her father Jimmy, who passed away in

2011. The family invites you to a memorial service on Friday, July 21, at 2 p.m., at Park Avenue

Baptist Church, 2600 Park Ave., Titusville, FL 32780
