Mistie Dawn Cardwell

Mistie Dawn Cardwell, age 32, peacefully went to her heavenly home to be with the Lord on November 17, 2020 in Titusville, Florida.  She was surrounded by her loving family and friends.  Mistie was a precious Mom, daughter, sister, and friend. 

Mistie was born on April 13, 1988, a Florida native all of her life.  Mistie is survived by her amazing son, Elijah Cardwell, age 12. She is also survived by her Mom, Vonnie Campbell (Tim), her Dad, Garret Cardwell and her special Mom, Angie.  Mistie has four siblings:  Stormie, Forrest (Sarah and their son Hunter), Frankie, Skylar and her precious niece KiaYanna Tuff.  Paternal Grandparents Ray and Cathy Cardwell, Maternal Grandparents Julian and Billie Campbell.  Aunt Taucha (Mike), Cousins Erica, Kelsie and numerous other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

As a child, Mistie, placed her faith in the Lord and was baptized.  Her faith always remained strong. Mistie was honored to be a ballet student at Gretta Matheny’s Ballet Studio for nine years.  She participated in soccer, swimming and basketball. Mistie graduated from Titusville High School in 2006.  Mistie helped establish the first female wrestling team at THS.  She was a two year varsity wrestler.  The team achieved fourth place in state competition the first year.   Mistie personally excelled in her weight class and achieved second in the state of Florida! In 2016, Mistie went on to obtain her cosmetology license from Academy of Cosmetology in Merritt Island, Fl.  She then went on to work at Natuacha’s Hair and Nails, owned by her beloved Aunt Taucha.  She had a gorgeous smile that would light up a room.  Of course, we all knew, Mistie took great pride in keeping her teeth white.  Mistie was passionate about encouraging others and was a faithful friend.

Though her smile is gone forever

And her hand I cannot touch

I still have so many memories of the one I Loved so Much

Her memory is now my Keepsake

Which with I’ll never part

God has her In HIS keeping I have her in my heart. 

Sadly missed, Dearly Loved but NEVER forgotten.

There will be a Celebration of Life to honor Mistie at New Fellowship Baptist Church 1840 Old Dixie Road in Titusville, on Sunday, December 6th at 3 pm..
