Michael Elwood Coffell

Michael Elwood Coffell Sr. passed away on June 7, 2019 in Mims, Florida.  He was born on November 13, 1948 in Peach Orchard, Arkansas. 

He was survived by his wife, Mary Lou Herring Coffell of Mims, Fl;  Daughter, Mary Kathleen Burkhalter (Roy) of Tomah, WI; son, Michael E. Coffell Jr. of Mims, Fl.; Four grandsons, Colton Michael Coffell  and Landon Zane Coffell of Mims, Fl.; Angel Louis Burkhalter and Daniel Lee Burkhalter of Tomah WI; Four granddaughters: Tevy McKee of Tomah, WI.;  Amanda Burkhalter Dorrestein (Perry) of N. Tenn., Heaven Maleen Burkhalter and Alana Faith Burkhalter of Tomah, WI; His mother, Hattie Mae Ferguson Coffell of Peach Orchard, AR.; Sister-in-law, Cindy Coffell of TX.; His Brothers: Phillip (Janice) Coffell of AR. And Jeff (Regina) Coffell of TX. Sister, Monica Coffell of AR; and many precious nieces and nephews.

Michael is preceded in death in 1969 by his precious first wife, Linda Jayne Coffell and his infant son Michael Sean Coffell of Knobel, AR.; His father, Lloyd E. Coffell of Peach Orchard, AR.; Brother, Danny Lloyd Coffell of TX.;

Mr. Coffell was in Quality Assurance at Kennedy Space Center for 21 years.  Michael Elwood Coffell Sr. lived a life full of family and friends around him.  A celebration of life will be held at noon on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at North Brevard Funeral Home, following the service he will receive honors at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery.
