Obituary

Mark W. Schoenleber passed away unexpectedly on September 21, 2022, at the age of 67 years.  He was born to Walter and Joyce (nee Eiling) Schoenleber on January 4, 1955.  As a child he grew up in Elm Grove, WI.  He attended Brookfield Central High School, Brookfield, WI where he enjoyed and benefited from their business curriculum studies.  He enjoyed playing non-competitive golf, especially with his son, Brian.  He attended the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Lakeland Technical College, where he obtained his Associates Degree in Accounting.  He married the love of his life, Cyndy Leiser on May 6, 1978 at Elm Grove United Methodist Church.  His work life started as a Price Analyst at Miller Brewing Company in Milwaukee, WI.  Later, he and Cyndy moved to Titusville, FL where Mark joined the Walmart retail operations team.  He worked in this capacity for over 25 years, earning special recognition for achievement and service.  He was respected and admired by his co-workers and customers alike…ready with a friendly smile, an encouraging word, or a bit of humor to brighten their day.  He also worked for Papa John’s in the same friendly manner.  At home, he was often appreciated by their three dogs, whom he loved dearly.  He and his family have regularly attended First Christian Church, where they have become an integral part of their church family. He was a devoted husband, loving father, caring brother, and a friend to all he met. Mark is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Joyce Schoenleber.  He is survived by his wife, Cyndy, son, Brian and daughter-in-law, Rica (Custodio) Schoenleber.  Also, sister Christine (Ronald) Buckley, sister Judy (Timothy) Fuhrmann, and Bruce (Lynn) Schoenleber, brother-in-law Scott (Katie) Leiser and numerous nieces and nephews.
