Mark E. Nelson

April 29, 1961 ~ September 6, 2021 (age 60) 60 Years Old

Obituary

Mark Edwin Nelson (60), husband of Susan Nelson, left this world to be with the Lord and his wife on September 6.

Mark, son of Edwin Leroy and Elsie Nelson, was born in Rockledge, Florida and came to Titusville in 1974. He graduated from Astronaut High School, where he met and married the love of his life, Susan Nelson, his wife of 42 years. They had three children.

Mark spent 30 years working for T.G. Lee Dairy in Orlando, currently as a plant supervisor. He was known and respected as a hardworking, dedicated manager who took great pride in maximizing plant production and safety.

Mark was a man of faith who was the “rock” for his family. A caring, selfless fellow who would give you the shirt off his back, Mark spoke and acted with everyone in a straightforward manner. He enjoyed spending time with his wife and family. He loved to, build, hunt, fish, cook, watch NASCAR and sports, and most of all, to play with his grandkids. With his wife Susan by his side, Mark found joy in making memories that his family could keep close to their hearts.

Mark is survived by his children Chris (Courtney) Nelson, Alicia (Nick) Gaines, and Jonathan (Claire) Nelson; grandbabies Alexander, Jacob, Connor, Carlee, and baby-to-be Skylen; brothers Robert (Cheryl) Nelson and Wayne Nelson; sisters Sue Lynn Hodkinson, and Debbie (Mike) Cunningham, and nieces and nephews.

The family appreciates all of the prayer, love, support, and donations that have helped them through this tragic time. Unfortunately, due to the current circumstances, the family will be having a private ceremony for him and his wife on September 18th, 2021 at Crosswalk Community Church. A link to view the celebration of life online in real time will be provided at a later date.
