Margaret Catherine Walker

Margaret Catherine “Cathy” Walker, former Lakeland, FL resident and long-time Floridian, died peacefully July 31, 2022. Born Nov. 4, 1951 in Gauley Bridge, WV, Cathy made lasting friendships everywhere she went, especially in her most recent home at Titusville Towers in Titusville, Florida. Among other professional accomplishments, Cathy was Senior Hair Stylist and Nail Technician at the Parlor Salon, in Lakeland. Cathy was known for having friendly conversations with anyone; she was always curious about what her friends and customers cared most about. Cathy is survived by her daughter, Sheri Droddy; son David Droddy and spouse; siblings Patsy Tittle and Ray Walker; grandchildren Brady Droddy and Devin Droddy; godchildren Matthew Stull and Amber Reynolds. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Peggy and Charles Walker. No memorial service is immediately planned. Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society or St. Francis Reflections Lifestage Care, Titusville, FL.
