Mahasty Armand

Mahasty Armand, 84, passed away on Wednesday January 6th 2021 in Titusville, FL. Originally from Rasht, Iran, Mahasty was born on November 3rd 1936. Throughout her life, Mahasty was known for her kindness, compassion, and dedication to education. Mahasty impacted the lives of hundreds of students as an educator in her early years in Iran, before moving to the United States and supporting the lives of her family members who loved her earnestly. To honor her Persian roots, Mahasty was also well known for creating authentic Persian food and inviting her family and members of her community to rejoice in quality time together. Despite enduring multiple health conditions, moving to a completely new country, and living through poignant moments in world history, Mahasty always made her home welcome to others and exhibited resilience through every moment of her life. Her legacy of strength will be remembered by her beloved family members, including her husband (Abolhassan), sons (Arman, Shayan, Ramin), granddaughters (Sunnaz, Elnaz, Hali, Heidi, Ellen, Jonathan), her daughter-in-law's families (Sedaghat family, Anders family, Berglund family), cousins (Divanbeigi), and various other close family friends that we cherish (Rassael, Pourkesali, Foroughi, Daryadale, Mesbahi, Najimi, Honavar, Banaei) and many others.
