June J Schaller

June was born on May 12, 1929 and passed away on March 20, 2018.  She was a  resident of Merritt Island at the time of her death having moved to Brevard County from New Jersey with her husband Gustave Schaller during their retirement years.  She was the office manager for Fredericks Fuel Oil Company in Oak Ridge, New Jersey for over 30 years.  Upon retiring June spent many volunteer hours at Cape Canaveral Hospital and worked with the Alzheimer patients at a local nursing home.  She and her husband were avid travelers seeing most of the sites on their “bucket list.”  Reading was her passion, she frequented the libraries on her quest to read every book written on the Civil War, as well as every Christian novel that was ever written. She was predeceased by her husband of 64 years Gustave Schaller, and brother Ralph Lawrance Sr. June is survived by her daughter Cheryl Rossi-Surrett, grandson Steven Rossi  and brother Howard Lawrance Jr.
