Julia Ann Hill, 77, of Titusville, went to her Heavenly home on Monday, May 16, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 10, 1944 to the late, Leonard Hill Sr. and Fonnie Hatfield Hill in Cabell County, West Virginia.
Julia was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. After graduating from Vinson High School Class of 1962 in Huntington, West Virginia, Julia chased her dreams and worked on the Shuttle Program as a Communications Technician with the Computer Science Corporation at NASA, the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Julia was a gifted piano player and loved to play her baby grand. She volunteered at her local hospital after separating from her career with the Space Program. Julia was a Christian and loved serving in her local Methodist Church. She loved angels, reading her Christian books and studying the Bible. She was so proud to say she was a direct descendant of William Anderson Hatfield. He was head of a famous clan involved in the Hatfield and McCoy Feud that occurred in the Tug Valley of Logan County, West Virginia. Julia had an elegant natural beauty and a smile that made you feel as if her heart was winking at you. She was known for her tasteful decorating and her love of cooking. She loved her family, friends, and all of her fur babies with a love that was unwavering, unconditional, and enduring.
In addition to her parents, Julia is preceded in death by her brother, Leonard “Dutch” Hill; niece, Robyn Hill. She is survived by her daughter, Leisa Dawn Napier (Roger “Hank” Carver) of Titusville, FL.; grandson, John Christopher Glen Gibson (Megan) of Proctorville, OH.; two granddaughters, Amanda Dawn Gibson (Michael Stamey- (fiancé) of Cocoa, FL.; and Whitley Nicole Shannon (Charles Callahan) of Gainesville, FL.; two great grandsons, Clayton Mitchell Sicolo, of Merritt Island, FL.; and Averett Brooks Gibson of Proctorville, OH.; great granddaughter, Zoey Love Shannon, of Gainesville, FL. Special friends Ruth Vaughan and Angela Sutherland, along with many other loving family members and friends.
The family will receive family and friends at 11:30 a.m. at the North Brevard Funeral Home in Titusville, FL on May 23, 2022. The Funeral Service will follow at 12 noon.
