Obituary

Judith Ann Silvaroli  (“Judy”) passed away peacefully in Melbourne, Florida on January 22. She was surrounded by family who kept vigil.  Judy was born on January 9, 1930 in Cleveland, Ohio to parents Roy Livingston and Marion McPhearson Livingston. Judith attended the all-girls Notre Dame Academy in downtown Cleveland.  She is preceded in death by her mother Marion McPherson (nee) Livingston, father Roy G. Livingston, and brother James T. Livingston, (1938-2022). 

She was married to Joseph G. Silvaroli  (1955 - 1998) and is survived by her children Kim Silvaroli, Mary Jo Vaccaro, Tracy Silvaroli, Joey Silvaroli, Janine Silvaroli, Michelle Silvaroli and Jeff Silvaroli who brought her much joy; her 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, and her loving brother Michael R. Livingston. 

Judy was an awesome mother, daughter and sister. Her gifts to all were her perseverance, unselfishness and loving kindness to all. She relocated from Cleveland, Ohio to Titusville, FL in 1967 and resided there the remainder of her life.

Judy was very involved with the American Legion Post 1 in Titusville and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Titusville Post 1 for over 30 years. She held many Offices and Chairmanships during her years of service to the Auxiliary.

She was the Unit 1 President 1993-1994, 1995-1996 and 1st Vice President 10 Years. She held the Chairmanship of the Education and Girls state for over 20 years and loved meeting and talking with students who applied for scholarships or being a Girl State candidate. She started the Blue Bird award for the outstanding Educator of the year. Judy was Membership Chairman for 10 years, Children & Youth Chairman and  held the office of Parliamentarian for many Unit Presidents through her membership. Judy was a partner of the 8 & 40 Department of Florida, Brevard County Salon for 27 years. As a partner, she held various chairships and the Office of Salon Chapeu for 12 years. She was responsible for setting protocols and chairing events and consistently planned ways to support and fund programs to assist American Legion Veterans.

Family and friends are welcome to attend a celebration of life, which will be held at the American Legion in Titusville at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations can be made to:
