Mary,
My condolences to you and your family. I knew Joe for 25 years, we both started with GDS about the same time. I worked for him in my last 4 years at GDS, it was my pleasure .Most of all, I was grateful to Joe for hiring my son John as a part.time summer employee..John was an accounting major at Hofstra. John worked with Joe and his people for almost 3 years part time, it made him fall in love with accounting. John went on to getting his CPA and is currently a senior partner at Price Waterhouse Coopers. In his first and only interview, he was told that he was "light years" ahead of other graduates. This was all due to Joe and his crew, giving him great guidance.

we are very sorry to hear of your passing. Our memories of you from our days at Grumman Data Systems always showed that you were a very fair man. You had a wonderful family. Rest in Peace and prayers for your family during this difficult time.
