John A. Murphy

John A. Murphy, 76, of Cocoa passed away on Monday, September 9, 2019 while surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 2, 1943 in Wheeling, WV to the late Harold and Margaret Murphy. John enjoyed tennis and was a member of the Titusville Elks Lodge. John will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of 19 years, Joan; stepson Daniel McMahon; grandchildren Chelsey McMahon and Christopher McMahon; sisters Mary Kay (Dante) Maimone and Margaret (Jon) Rasmussen and brothers Harold Murphy and Patrick (Nora) Murphy. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 11:15AM. Memorial contributions may be made in John’s name to the American Cancer Society.
