Jerry Copeland

Jerry Paul Copeland, age 79, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 14, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Jerry was born on November 10, 1943 in Andalusia, Alabama to James and Ruth Copeland. Blessed with a large family, Jerry is survived by his wife Carole Raulerson Copeland, his loving wife and best friend of 34 years; his 6 children - Sonya (Marko), Shawn (Ben), Shelley (Matt), Stacey (Bert), Scott and Rhonda (Darryl), 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Jerry moved to Brevard County, Florida in 1965 to begin his educational career on the Space Coast at the young age of 22. His impressive credentials include: Teacher, Curriculum Coordinator, Principal, Director of Personnel, and, and Assistant Superintendent. After retirement from the Brevard County school system, Jerry continued his passion for the education communities by starting Educational Management Consulting Services (EMCS) specializing in consulting the Collective Bargaining Agreements across Florida and Alabama. In addition to his educational career, Jerry and Carole were also the proprietors of Copeland Originals after their discovery that they both had a great talent for building furniture and woodworking.

Jerry enjoyed fishing/boating, spending time with his family, bird watching, collecting various types of artifacts, and serving the Titusville First United Methodist Church as a Lay leader.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church at 206 South Hopkins Ave, Titusville, Florida 32796.
