Obituary

Janice. was born on January 29, 1931 in Narrows, VA (in Shenandoah Valley) to William and Janie Frazier. She grew up there with four brothers, three sisters and lots of cousins. She graduated from high school at seventeen. She was a high school drum majorette, sang in church and took Latin.

Mom and Dad married on September 8 1948. Granny Frazier signed for Mom who was only 17 at the time.  Mom and Dad. went to a Methodist  minister in Dublin VA for the ceremony. Dad returned Mom back home, they finally told Papa Frazier two weeks later. Then the happy couple went to live in Rich Creek.

Later family moved to Norfolk, VA and in 1958 we moved to Mims, Florida. Mom and Dad lived in Spruce Hills until each of their passing for a total of 62 years.

Along with Mom being a devoted wife, a great homemaker, and good cook she loved sports. She played softball, tennis and golf. She was an avid reader, gardener- specialty flowers and roses, Ioved music, crossword puzzles, darts, playing games with grandchildren, and any competitive board game. Their home was a happy place to visit always especially holidays and birthdays.

Mom passed away suddenly on September 17 2020 due to an undetected blood clot in her lung. She was alert smiling and kidding around with us right up until something went wrong. The hospital made a heroic effort to save her but three hours later she passed from this life to eternity. We miss you so much already, but we can hold on to the many happy memories you gave us.  We love you Mom.
