Irene Stewart

Irene Malodvitch Stewart was born in Taylor, Pennsylvania on June 28, 1928. She graduated from Taylor High School in 1946. She married George P. Stewart of Detroit, Michigan in 1953. Along with home-making, she enjoyed secretarial work and made a career of working for the United States Government in the Washington, DC area.  She also worked for the U.S. Army in Germany when she accompanied her husband during a tour of duty there.  She and her husband moved to Florida in 1989.

Irene Stewart is survived by her husband, George (Pete) Fred of Durham, NC; son Mark and wife Sharon; grandson Eric and wife Kristin; and grandson Paul and wife Meredith, and great granddaughters, Reagan and Raleigh, and great grandson Josh, all of Raleigh, NC. Irene Stewart is also survived by sister, Alyce Leonia of Cape Coral, Florida and brother, Joseph Malodvitch of Pennsauken, New Jersey.
