Irene I McCorquodale

Irene I. McCorquodale, 89, of Titusville went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 14, 2022 while surrounded by her loving family. Born on July 27, 1932 to the late Forrest and Maude Stalvey in Wilmington, NC, and also preceded in death by brother Forrest and sister Maude. Irene was a member of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Titusville.  She was known for her great sense of humor, stylish decorating, and great southern cooking. Most of all she enjoyed her time as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Irene will be missed by her beloved husband of sixty-eight years, Grady B. McCorquodale; daughters Angie (Robert) Hall and Sandy (Eddie) Blalock; sons David (Cindy) McCorquodale and Chris (Vickie) McCorquodale; grandchildren Jenifer (Ryan) Thigpen, Justine Hall, Robert (Roxanne) Hall, Shannon (Lane) Nussbaum, Kristen Blalock, Macy (Hayden) Williams and Pierce McCorquodale; great grandchildren Jack and Smith Thigpen and Luella and Grant Nussbaum, Eli and Parker Hall, Saylor Wells. Sister, Marie Loflin and many loving nieces and nephews in North Carolina and Georgia.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at North Brevard Funeral Home from 5-7PM. Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 20, 2022 at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery at 9:30AM. Condolences may be shared at www.northbrevardfuneralhome.com
