Henry Elias Murray, Jr., 89, of Titusville, FL, began enjoying the blessings of Heaven Dec. 11, 2018, at home. Henry was born in Orlando, FL in 1929, to Henry Elias and Ethel Mae Reardon Murray. He was married to Patricia Ann Murray June 23, 1957.
Henry served his country honorably in the Army for 39 years, beginning in the Korean Police Action (also known as the Korean War) on the 38th Parallel/DMZ in Korea for 17 months. Following a civilian career as Deputy Clerk / Manager in the Brevard County Circuit Court system, all while staying in the Active Army Reserves, Henry returned to active duty and served in the Army Records Personnel Center in St. Louis, then as an instructor in Austin and San Antonio, TX.
Henry touched many lives during his lifetime. He served as an ordained deacon, Sunday School teacher, member of the Gideons, and as a computer tech with Computers Advancing Education, Inc., an all-volunteer group that refurbishes donated computers and gives them away to needy students.
He is survived by his wife Pat, sons Steven (Neva), Wendell (Tracy) and Raymond (Michelle), 12 grandchildren (including 2 spouses) and 4 great-grandchildren; also sisters Chlotielde Flemings of Tampa and Joahn Rodak of Eustis, all of whom loved him greatly.
The entire Murray family is ever so grateful for the loving care provided by Hospice of St. Francis over the last almost 5 years, and to everyone who has expressed kindness and thoughtfulness.
