Celebrating the life of such a special woman is the ultimate tribute made possible by the most devoted mother who raised her children through faith and love. I remember meeting her when I helped move your family to Port St. John and knew then that she would be quite the young lady. Thoughts and prayers during this most trying time.

I taught Heidi at Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences in the nursing program beginning with her first term. She and I stayed in contact throughout the entire program processing the challenges she needed to meet and how she was going to meet them. And she did, every single challenge!! I remember she wanted only the best for others and would reach out to help others.
I can't even imagine your pain and emptiness at this time, but I hope you know what a lovely young woman she was and how we share your loss. May God put his loving arms around you as you go through life without seeing her, but knowing her gifts to others were many and from her heart.
Blessings and peace,
Lynne

Heidi was a blessing to many with her humor and kindness. She was my student in Florida Hospital College over a decade ago. I sat with HeidI throughout a baby shower after the amputation. She remained strong in faith and determined to be all she could be. Please know the angels are happy to have Heidi at their side.

She was a true friend 'til the end. I'm heart broken to hear she's gone. And even worse gone without a chance for me to say I'm sorry and I love her just one more time. She taught me so much about life, love, and forgiveness. Challenged me on so many levels that no one else could. I'll keep our crazy memories and adventures in my heart forever. I'll think of her whenever I hear one of our favorite show tunes or see an image of a magical unicorn. Because she was just as magical and just as rare. I'll always remember our conversations and inside jokes. She's irreplaceable. My heart goes out to her family at this time, especially momma Robin. No words can med a broken heart, only God and time can do that. Just know that one more heart is broken, as heaven gains an angel.

I will miss you so much. I wish we could've been able to meet up again. I wish you could've met my kids. I will miss our late night conversations about life. I know you are no longer suffering or struggling now and that you are in a better place. I love you dear friend. I will cherish our memories of youth and school.

I was so saddened to hear of Heidi's death. I am also an arm amputee, but live in northern Florida ... so I had heard of her but never met her face to face until we both went to an indoor sky diving event a few months ago. I just reread her posts after that night, and she too was exhilerated by the feelings of flying and swooping like a bird ... so I am imagining her today swooping and floating in the ether. Fly away in freedom, sweet girl!

Heidi and I met on my first RN travel assignment back in 2010 at Bayfront Medical in St Pete. I honestly don't think I would have survived without her great wit and crazy antics! Tigger, always bouncy!

Go rest high on that mountain, sweet girl! Your journey here is done and you will be greatly missed by everyone who ever knew you for your kindness and gentle spirit. Rest in peace, Heidi.
