Harris Buzzy Rodenbaugh

Harris “Buzzy” Rodenbaugh 92, of Mims passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2018.  He was born in Orlando, FL to the Late Carl and Jane Rodenbaugh. He was a Naval Aviator in WWII, then returned to complete his degree from Rollins College where he earned a scholarship for Baseball and Football.  He taught History at Melbourne High School before starting his career with the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office where he retired after 35 years. He enjoyed coach pop warner football, the outdoors and riding his many horses and raising cattle.

Buzzy is survived daughter Sharon Myers, son Mike Rodenbaugh (Denise) grandchildren Siobhan Myers and Derek Farmer, great grandchildren Gianna Runde and Mya Farmer.

A viewing for Buzzy will be held Monday from 5-7 pm at North Brevard Funeral Home. The funeral will be Tuesday at 1 pm North Brevard Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery with Military Honors.
