Gregory L McNees

Gregory L McNees, 76, of Mims went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 24, 2023. . He was born on March 28, 1947, in Erie, PA to the late Charles and Evelyn McNees. Gregory was a member of Mims Methodist Church and treasured his friendship with Pastor Charley Watts.  Greg worked for General Motors. He retired after thirty years of service and traveled the county in his RV. He finally settled in Florida where he was spending his golden years with Nancy Wood. He was known for having a bit of a sweet tooth as he never turned down ice cream, donuts or cinnamon rolls. He loved seafood and discovering new restaurants to share with his family. He liked his classic cars, most recently collecting Chevy HHR’s.  He loved dogs especially Sammy Ojo, Whiskers and Skywaker. Other than his parents Gregory is preceded in death by his brother Terry McNees. He will be greatly missed by his children Tina (Christopher) Cook, Jason (Frances) McNees, Brian (Missy) McNees and Carrie McNees; grandchildren Tori McNees, Nathaniel Gregory (Jessica) McNees, Taylor Cook, Logan Cook, Chloe Cook and brother Conrad (Leonard) McNees. A celebration of Gregory’s life will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at Mims Methodist Church at 11AM. Condolences may be shared at www.northbrevardfuneralhome.com
