Obituary

George “Bud” Davis, age 64, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2022 at his home in Astor, Florida. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on July 17, 1958. He graduated from Max S. Hayes Vocational High School and served his country for four years in the US Navy. He went on to work and then retire from Delta Airlines, as an aircraft mechanic. Bud is survived by his beloved wife, Robin (nee McGeehan). He was a loving father to Jennifer Miller (Chad), Jeffrey Davis (Lindsy), Kelli Fletcher (Kirk), Kyle Davis (Jessica). Adoring Grandfather to Jack, Maddox, Luke, Rhylee, Tyson, Mack, Melody, Kole, Olivia, Austin and one on the way.  Step-father to Becca, Christine, Amanda, Danielle, and Billy and “Grandpa Bud” to their ten children. Brother to Jeannie Dwyer and Glen Davis. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Dorothy Davis; sister Lois White; brothers Ronald & James Davis. He was also a loving uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend. He will be remembered for his kind heart, great sense of humor and for the selfless, unconditional love he gave. The service will be held on Monday, September 26, 2022 at The North Brevard Funeral Home & Crematory; located at 1450 Norwood Avenue, Titusville, FL 32796. The burial will take place directly after the service at 2:30 pm at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery at 5525 US-1, Mims, FL, 32754. After the burial, there will be a gathering at the American Legion Post 1 at 1281 US-1, Titusville, FL 32796 at approximately 3:30, where food will be served. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Legion Post 1 in Titusville, FL.
