George Dewey Boyd, 96, of Mims, Florida passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday, November 14, 2020. He was a World War II Veteran and was a mechanic for over 30 years. He is survived by his four daughters, Betty Newton of Deltona, Florida, Linda Smart of Oviedo, Florida, Brenda Garrett of Titusville, Florida, and Katharine Jackson of Mims, Florida; 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Temple Baptist Church, 1400 Washington Avenue, Titusville, FL from 11:00 to 12:00 with funeral services to follow at 12 with Rev. Jerry Hanson will be officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Titusville, Florida immediately following the service. The family would like to express a special thank you to James Dewey Garrett (grandson) and Autumn Osborn (Great-granddaughter) the wonderful care given by hospice of St. Francis, and others.
