Gary Lee Richardson

Gary Lee Richardson, 71, died on Monday July 29, 2019. Gary was born in Sugar Tree Ridge, Ohio and came to Edgewater in April of 2018 from Mt. Sterling, Ohio. He served in the Marine Corp in Vietnam. Gary worked as a Post Commander of the Ohio State Highway Patrol for 25 years. After he retired from the State Patrol he worked for Fuse Tech as a Truck Driver and Ceramic Welder for 15 years. He was an outdoorsman and loved fishing and hunting.

Gary is survived by his wife Garnet “Darlene” Richardson, his daughters Anita McGuire (Mike) of Powell, Ohio and Carrie Richardson of Grove City, Ohio, his grandchildren Donovan McGuire and Savannah McGuire, and his brother Hobart Richardson, Jr. of South Dakota. Gary was preceded by his parents Hobart and Gladys Richardson and his siblings Frances Bauer, Pauline Comber, Patricia Brooks, Taylor Richardson and Randy Richardson.
