Gainel E. Huckleberry

Gainel “Gay” E. Huckleberry, 97, died Friday September 16, 2022 at Edward M. Poe Hospice Care Center in Titusville. Gay was born in Salesville, Ohio to Earl Eagon and Madge Elizabeth Ankrom Eagon on November 1, 1924. Gay grew up in Ohio and moved to Titusville in 1955 from Columbus. She loved to bowl and play Bunko.

Gay is survived by her daughters Sue Ann Church of Newark, Ohio and Nancy Holladay and her husband Tim of Titusville, her grandchildren, Keith Holladay of Titusville, Greg Holladay and his wife Lindsey of Mims, Kerri Cox of Titusville, Brent Church and his wife Aimee of Newark, Ohio and Peyton Church of Newark, Ohio, her great-grandchildren Andrew, Devin, Eli, and Gracie Holladay, Kendal and Kyle Cox, and Bethany and Liam Church, her niece Elizabeth Crist and her nephew Phillip Frye. Gay was preceded by her husband Paul Huckleberry and her sister Phyllis Frye.

Paul was a veteran of WWII and he and Gay will be interred at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery at 11:30am October 6, 2022.
