Evelyn V Peterson

Evelyn Peterson, daughter of the late Maurice and Anna Hudson, was born on February 18, 1926 in New York City and passed away on June 16, 2022 at Hospice of St. Francis.  She was predeceased by her husband, Carl; sister, Marie and Katerie; and Brother Owen.  She is survived by her niece, Laurel Fowler, and nephews, Harry Fowler and Albert Fowler.

Evelyn was a career woman working for Citicorp in New York City.  She had a strong work ethic and was a role model for other women in business.  She and Carl had a lot of happy times in Lake Hopatcong, New Jersey, where his family was from.  Evelyn and Carl cruised the world on Merchant Marine Ships before retiring and moving to Titusville in 1982 from Westwood, NJ.  They lived and played golf at Royal Oaks Country Club.  Evelyn later joined La Cita Country Club where she was a member of La Cita Women’s Golf Association.  After Carl’s death, Evelyn continued her love of travel with close friends.  Evelyn was a competitive bridge player, a member of St. Teresa’s Catholic Church and a member of Pilot Club.  In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to St. Teresa’s Catholic Church, 203 Ojibway, Titusville, and Fl. 32780.
