Obituary
Eleanor “Ellie” Bolen, 81, a devout follower of Christ, passed away peacefully at her home in Titusville, Florida on Monday, September 18, 2023. Born and raised in Sedro-Woolley, Washington with her two brothers, Walter and Winston Johnson, and one sister, Phyllis Johnson Queen.
Ellie married Dennis R. Bolen in 1971 and stayed faithfully married for 52 years. She had 6 children, Harry Hagen, Tulla Wilson, Nini Ford, Wencka Davis (pre-deceased), Clay Lang, and Denny Bolen.
Ellie worked for the City of Titusville, and was a member of Park Avenue Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family, including her 23 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. When she wasn’t doing so, she enjoyed beading, spending time outside, and feeding her neighborhood squirrels.
We will be memorializing Ellie and celebrating her life on October 14, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Park Avenue Church.
