Chief Dorman Earl Lowry (95)

passed peacefully May 10 in the care of Community Hospice at St. Vincent’s in Jacksonville.

Dorman was born in Adrian, Michigan. He spent 21 1/2 years in the US Navy where he met his wife Alwilda (Buddy).

Dorman is survived by his daughter Kathleen Lowry (George Essery), Jeffrey Lowry, wife Debra, daughter Nancy Davis, husband Mark.

He has 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Dorman loved woodworking, model trains and planes.

But most of all Dorman loved spending time with his family.

A graveside service will be held at Oaklawn Memorial, Saturday, May 14 @ 11 am.
