Doreen Helen Turner, 88, passed away on Tuesday April 13, 2021 at The Edward M. Poe Hospice Care Center. Doreen was born and raised in London, England.
In 1965, Doreen, and her then husband Len Turner, moved to Brevard County, FL, where she was a devoted mother and wife.
Doreen enjoyed cooking for her family, sewing her daughters clothes, and keeping busy with the girl’s extra curricular activities. She also began a successful career as a hair stylist, where she enjoyed many years building her clientele, many of which became dear friends.
Doreen valued her British roots, never lost her English accent and loved British movies, as well as dancing, and music.
Doreen is survived by her daughters Andrea Turner of Titusville, FL, Denise Turner of Melbourne, FL. and Beverly Turner Wild and her husband Joel Wild of Orlando, FL. Also by grandchildren Emily Yerkes, Grace Yerkes, Michael Yerkes, Harrison Wild, and Liam Wild, as well as her two great-grandchildren Jesse Medeiros and Knolan Hughes.
Doreen’s daughters are so very thankful for her devotion and loving care. She was a wonderful mother and friend.
