Deborah Jean Couture

Deborah Jeane Couture (Malone), was born October 10, 1955, in Baltimore, MD and passed away on September 14, 2017After a short but brave fight with cancer. She died as she lived, a razor sharp wit, boundless sense of humor, and the quickest most radiant smile you'd  ever seen; through her journey, she never lost her sense of awe and wonder, carrying her charm and wit to the very end; never failing to touch the lives of everyone she met.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alice and Joseph Kowalski. Left to mourn are her four brothers, (Edward and Donald Keene; Sam and Jim Malone, and her Aunt Nancy Marshall);  her three children (Kathleen, Christian, and James as well as her adopted daughters Sarah and Cheyenne), one grandchild Dante, as well as a plethora of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends all over the world. Never leaving her side in her last days was her best friend and husband of over 27 years, Jim Couture.

Debbie was a larger than life presence, her infectious laugh , lightning fast tongue, and immeasurable compassion drew people to her. Her love of music created a vast network of love and devotion, across thousands of miles she used music to touch and inspire those around her.

Services will be held at North Brevard Funeral Home in Titusville , 2017 at 3pm. Directly after, her husband Jim Couture and her brother Jim Malone invite everyone to a celebration of life memorial at 4707 Chicago Saint Saint John.

Debbie was a warrior, facing battles and struggles with humor and grace despite overwhelming adversity. She should be an ideal example of how true inner strength and humor can help you get past any battle and come out shining on the other side.

In lieu of flowers or donations, the family asks that donations be made to the St. Francis Hospice Center in Titusville, FL
