Daisy Ora Herger

Daisy Ora Herger, 88, went to be with the lord on January 2, 2020 at Parrish Medical Center in Titusville, Florida.  She was born on February 21, 1931 to the late John and Ella Geer in Machias, Maine.  Daisy was a wonderful mother and she was truly loved by her two adoring children Jerry and Norma.  Daisy had a love for people and enjoyed being surrounded by her five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.  She often enjoyed spending her winters in Florida since 1992 and obtained many lifelong friends in San Manteo village.  Daisy was often seen at the Village Clubhouse playing Bingo.  She enjoyed her “girl’ time shopping and eating out with her daughter and friends, especially Liz and Janice.  Daisy was much loved and will truly be missed by all those that knew her. 

Daisy Ora Herger is survived by her son, Jerry Herger (Sally); Daughter, Norma Lyons (Mark); Grandchildren, Leslie Herger, Matthew Herger, Allen Herger, Lisa Truman and Heidi Leighton;  Great grandchildren, Max Herger, Brayden Truman, Brennon Truman, Hudson Parker, Brooke Leighton, and Riley Leighton;  Sister, Flora Palosky.  Daisy was predeceased by her husband Gerald Herger; Great Granddaughter, Emma Parker; Six brothers and three sisters.
