Conrad A. Perez, 83, of Titusville, passed away on September 23, 2018 at his home.
Conrad was born in Brawley, California to Wallace and Josephine Perez on July 6, 1935. He was raised in Phoenix, Arizona where he graduated from Phoenix Union High School in 1953 before enlisting in the U.S. Air Force. He moved to Florida in 1958 to start a career on the Space Program where he worked for Martin Marietta, Rockwell International, Boeing, US Space Alliance and ARC. He graduated from Embry Riddle University with a degree in Aeronautical Engineering. He was awarded a Silver Snoopy and a Lifetime Achievement award for his service to the Space Program. Conrad loved what he did and continued taking online classes from MIT well in to retirement.
Conrad is preceded in death by his parents, brother Rawghlie, sister Ruth, and infant son.
Conrad is survived by his former wife, Melinda LaMee Perez, Daughters Melinda Maxwell (Gary) and Nicole Stedman (Jeremy), Son Conrad Perez, Granddaughters Kiersten Maxwell, Jordan Stedman, Sarah Stedman, Olivia Stedman and Emma Perez, and Grandson Eli Perez.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at North Brevard Funeral Home with a reception following.
