Carolyn Ann Jewell

Carolyn Ann Barnes Jewell, born in Chattanooga, TN, passed away at age 85 on July 20, 2020, in Merritt Island, FL. She is survived by the love of her life and husband of 65 years, William (Bill) Oden Jewell, daughters Ginger Jewell and Jennifer Jewell, and granddaughter Ali MacDonald.

A devoted wife and mother, she enjoyed spending time with her beloved family and friends. Although sweet and shy, Carolyn was a fierce defender of her family and country, and was grateful for the life she lived.

She will be greatly missed by family and friends. Her laughter will live on in our hearts and she’ll be remembered each time we walk through a garden, admire her paintings and drawings, page through one of the many photo albums she carefully cultivated, or repeat a famous expression with a special twist that only she could give.
