On Tuesday August 13, 2019 Carolyn Cooper was devoted wife and mother of 2 daughters passed away at age of 76. Carolyn Jean Thomas Cooper was born in Alachua Florida May 28, 1943 to Willis and Winnie Thomas.
Carolyn started her career with Brevard County School Board in 1982 and retired in 2005. Throughout her career she worked as the head cook at Coquina Elementary School and Astronaut High School. Towards the end of her career at Astronaut she started a new job where she touched and impacted many lives. She became a caretaker at the daycare for the mothers that attended Astronaut.
Carolyn was a longtime member of the Titusville church of Christ. She was loved by many and will be missed.
She is survived by her husband William "Bill" Cooper of 50 years, 2 daughters Kim Cooper and Dee Dee Cooper-Campbell (Charles) and 2 grandchildren Madison and Catalina Campbell. Siblings Pat Sledd, Fred Thomas (Nikki) and Kenny Thomas (Beth) along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in by death by her parents Willis and Winnie Thomas and her brother Ronald Thomas.
A Celebration of Carolyn’s life will be held at 11 am Saturday, August 17, 2019 with a viewing of friends and family from 10-11 am all at North Brevard Funeral Home.
